Dr. Jesse Michaud

Chiropractor / Owner

Dr. Michaud is originally from Saskatchewan. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic in Toronto at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with an award in Clinical Radiology. He is certified in medical acupuncture through the Macmaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and is currently completing his residency in orthopedics with the Canadian Chiropractic Orthopedics Specialty (Canada).

Dr. Michaud is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, dedicated and places his patients’ best interest at the forefront. He effectively diagnoses conditions/ailments affecting all areas of the body from knees and feet to the jaw and neck. With a particular interest in relieving headaches. His calculated approach to each patient’s condition is carefully constructed since we all have different needs and goals for recovery. The initial exam consists of a history, physical exam and a report of findings. Dr. Michaud’s initial assessment provides enough information to properly develop a unique treatment plan comprised of manual therapy, education and rehabilitative exercises for individuals to return to normal activities of daily living.

Dr. Michaud employs a diversified style of treatment and believes that an evidence-based approach to care is the best way to get people back on their feet and back in the game doing the things they love. He believes that it is imperative to collaborate together, along with family doctors and the entire health care team, to create a treatment plan that is realistic/achievable/attainable and produces results in the fastest and safest manner.

    Dr. Lai Kiu (June) Yau, BSc, DC

    Dr. Yau was born and raised in Hong Kong. She moved to Calgary with her family in 2004 and have since called the city her home. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic in Toronto at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Lauda. Prior to pursuing a career in Chiropractic, she worked as Medical Laboratory Technologist in Calgary after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

    Dr. Yau believes in an evidence-informed model of care and practices diversified chiropractic technique to help optimize patient’s health and function. She has attended seminars on manual therapies which aim to restore muscle and joint movements including Graston® Level 1, Rocktape® Kinesiology Taping and Movement Courses, Mulligan Mobilization with Movement (Upper Quadrant), and Activator (Basics). She is also in the process of completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.

    During clinical internship, Dr. Yau has worked with patient demographics including elderly, chronic pain, and people with physical and psychological co-morbidities. This experience has strengthened her passion to serve the geriatric population and the undeserved. She is committed to her roles as a health practitioner and educator, and she strives to deliver appreciate care for her patients to the best of her abilities.

  • Chiropractor

    Dr. Steven Pederson was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He attended the University of Regina where he received his Bachelor of Kinesiology. Following this, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.

    While growing up he participated in many sports including soccer, track, cross country, basketball and volleyball. With this background, Dr. Pederson became very experienced with athletes and sports-related injuries. During his time at CMCC, he had the opportunity to treat a variety of patients from all walks of life.

    Dr. Pederson believes in an evidence-based approach in his practice by combining research with the values and beliefs of his patients to create an individualized treatment plan for them. He is a certified acupuncture provider through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program, full body Active Release Techniques provider as well as a Canadian Red Cross First Responder.

    He is committed to all his patient’s wellbeing while helping them achieve their physical goals through education and a variety of diversified manual techniques. These can include soft tissue therapies, acupuncture, adjustments and rehabilitation. When he is not in the clinic Dr. Pederson enjoys staying active through hiking, running, golfing and other recreational sports. He also enjoys playing the drums and catching the latest Calgary Flames game. He looks forward to treating the people of Olds and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Sharon Pratt
  • Dr. Sharon Pratt is passionate about reducing stress, chronic and acute pain to enhance every patients quality of life, at any stage of life. Delivering comprehensive treatments as a Registered Acupuncturist she combines acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, massage, aromatherapy and tuning forks. To enhance patient comfort Dr. Sharon stays in the room for the duration of the appointment, treating multiple areas of the body at once. Dr. Sharon graduated in 2017 from CCTCMA in Calgary with Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has continued learning ever since, including a Holistic Nutritionist diploma in 2019, expanding her knowledge of how digestion and nutrition affect the whole body. Specialized training has included sports medicine, infertility, prenatal & postnatal, cosmetic rejuvenation and pain management. Patient preferences guide treatment plans. Dr. Sharon is passionate about movement and enjoys dancing and mountain biking in her spare time.

  • Medical Office Assistant


    Sammy grew up in the Didsbury area but have settled in Olds for the last 20 plus years. Sammy is trained and certified as a Medical Office Assistant as well as a Health Care Aid. Sammy has spent most of her adult life caring for others both in a hospital setting as well as 8 years in a medical clinic. Sammy has a wide scope of skills and training that makes her a very important team member.
